Luis André Chilingano León

Biography

Luis André is a highly experienced tax lawyer specializing in international taxation, corporate transactions, tax planning, wealth protection for individuals and families, and tax controversies, both administrative and judicial. He provides strategic tax advice to local and foreign companies across diverse sectors, including banking and finance, retail, technology, hospitality, construction, and infrastructure. His practice also covers complex areas such as international transactions, intercompany operations, corporate reorganizations, and the facilitation of both domestic and foreign investments. He is known for his expertise in navigating intricate tax matters that impact businesses and individuals globally. Luis André holds a Law Degree and a Specialization Degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). He is a sought-after speaker and a contributor to academic research, with extensive experience coaching and judging in tax law debate competitions, such as the Tax Law Moot Court at PUCP. As the National Reporter for the Tax Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) for the 2025-2026 term, Luis actively engages with global tax policy discussions. He is also a proud member of the Peruvian Institute of Tax Law (IPDT), the International Fiscal Association (IFA), and the Lima Bar Association (CAL).
