Biography

Éric is a Montreal-based litigator and commercial lawyer. He practices in multiple areas of the law, with his primary focus being in competition law. As part of his competition law practice, Eric acts for trade associations (as well as their members) involved in international aviation, real estate and cement manufacturing. He also advises clients involved in other industries, such as telecommunications and retail, regarding all aspects of competition law, from cartel and single firm conducts to merger clearances. His litigation experience includes multiple international arbitration cases (ICC, UNCITRAL) where he has acted as lead counsel for many multinationals as well as for international organizations, including UN institutions. Domestically, Eric appeared several times before the Supreme Court of Canada. He has also acted as lead counsel for Fortune 500 companies in a significant number of cartel and antitrust class actions, as well in misleading advertising cases and product liability matters.
