Biography

Allan Ashford is Senior Director & Associate General Counsel, Private Equity at British Columbia Investment Management Corporation in Victoria, BC, where he leads the legal team that supports Private Equity, Venture Capital and Growth investments. He was previously Director and Senior Legal Counsel, Investments at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board, and worked in private practice at both Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP in Toronto and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in San Francisco.
