Biography

Aaron Kates Rose is a Director, Legal & Compliance at CPP Investments, where he helps to lead the organization’s global enterprise and investment compliance efforts related to anti-bribery and corruption, money-laundering, sanctions, and other business ethics matters. Prior to joining CPP Investments, Aaron practiced in the Investigations and Disputes group at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in New York, where he advised financial services clients on complex cross-border investigations and regulatory enforcement matters. Aaron obtained his JD, cum laude, from NYU School of Law, where he was an Institute for International Law and Justice Scholar. He is qualified to practise in New York and Ontario, and is based in Toronto.
