Biography

Amelia O'Beirne is a partner in A&L Goodbody's Tax department. She specialises in international tax and has extensive experience advising domestic and international clients on transactional matters, including public and private company mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital markets transactions and complex cross border financing transactions. She also regularly assists clients in relation to contentious matters such as tax authority enquiries and international tax disputes. She has extensive experience advising US multinationals on cross border tax matters, having spent three years in the firm’s New York office. Amelia represents a broad spectrum of clients in various industry sectors, including life sciences, technology, financial services and aircraft leasing.
