Biography

Greg is an experienced strategic adviser to law firm leaders, with more than a decade of expertise in the legal sector. He is the founder of Oakwood Strategy, a leading consultancy focused on law firm strategy, mergers and acquisitions, leadership succession, partner remuneration, and governance reform. Greg has worked extensively with many of the United Kingdom’s top law firms, including eight of the top twenty and numerous firms from the broader top fifty. He continues to serve as a trusted adviser to a range of managing partners and leadership teams across a wide range of issues. Recognised for his strong professional network, Greg frequently identifies and facilitates strategic growth opportunities for his clients. His insights and market understanding have made him a sought-after speaker at partner conferences and leadership retreats. Before founding Oakwood Strategy, Greg led the law firm strategy and transformation practice at PwC and served as Global Strategy Director at a Magic Circle firm for seven years. He is widely regarded for his depth of market knowledge and insight driven presentations on specific challenges and opportunities facing modern law firms with pragmatic actionable guidance and best practices to address them.
