Biography
Haixiao Hellen Zhang is a highly experienced legal partner at AnJie Law Firm in Shanghai, China, where she specialises in anti-corruption, compliance, intellectual property and dispute resolution matters. She has more than 23 years of legal experience advising multinational corporations, government entities and other organisations on complex regulatory and compliance issues, including cross-border enforcement.
Dr. Zhang’s distinguished career includes senior legal roles in both international and Chinese law firms. Before joining AnJie Law Firm in April 2019, she was a partner at Zhonglun (Shanghai) Law Firm, where she provided legal counsel on anti-corruption and compliance issues for many years.
She has been consistently recognised for her expertise in compliance and regulatory law, including being named as a “Leading Individual in Compliance” by Legal Band between 2015 and 2019.
Dr. Zhang’s academic credentials are substantial: she holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Pennsylvania, and both a bachelor’s degree in international economic law and a doctorate in law from Fudan University.
Beyond private practice, she also serves in advisory and expert roles — including as an expert member of the International Chamber of Commerce’s Arbitration and Anti-Corruption Working Group — reflecting her standing in the international legal community．
