Biography

Attorney | Licensed to Practice in Nigeria and Ontario, Canada | Specialty: Practice and Theory of International Law & Labour Migration Currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Ottawa, my research unravels the complexities of Bilateral Labour Agreements (BLAs) – a vital cornerstone of international relations and equitable labour mobility under the current labour migration governance framework. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree with honours in Linguistics and an LL. B from the University of Benin, Nigeria, and an LLM from the American University Washington College of Law, securing numerous awards and scholarships along the way. My career spans a broad spectrum as a litigator and a solicitor. I have appeared before esteemed courts, including the Federal Court, Court of Appeal, and Supreme Courts of Nigeria. I have also worked on various international and UN Administrative law issues at the General Legal Division of the Office of Legal Affairs at United Nations Headquarters, New York. Driven by an unyielding passion for creating impact beyond the traditional legal realm, I founded the “International Law Project.” Through this project, I aim to bring international law concepts to the fore in a fun and engaging way.
