Biography

Jennifer Y. Ishiguro serves as Partner, Chief Legal Officer & Secretary of StepStone Group Inc. (Nasdaq: STEP), a global private markets investment firm with approximately $811 billion of total capital responsibility, including $220 billion of assets under management as of December 31, 2025, and offices across North, Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. StepStone's clients include some of the world's largest public and private defined benefit and defined contribution pension funds, sovereign wealth funds and insurance companies, as well as prominent endowments, foundations, family offices and private wealth clients. Jennifer oversees the Legal & Compliance Departments as well as Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk, and serves as Secretary to the Board of Directors. Jennifer graduated cum laude from both Harvard Law School and Yale College. Before attending law school, she served as speechwriter to United Nations Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali, and studied international trade law in Japan on a Fulbright fellowship.
