Christophe Lanneau
Biography
Christophe Lanneau is a distinguished scientist and research expert with over 20 years of experience in the biotechnology industry. He currently serves as the Director of Research and Platforms at Genopole®, a leading biocluster in France. In this role, he is responsible for driving the development and growth of the organization by leveraging its diverse capabilities and promoting collaboration between public and private research institutions, hospitals, and industry partners. Lanneau began his career at GSK in Neurosciences CEDD but it was at Sanofi where he held various research positions across multiple fields, including biomanufacturing, gene therapy, and immunology. During his tenure at Sanofi, he made significant contributions to the development of new biotechnology products and processes especially in the field of Genome editing and established himself as a respected thought leader in the industry. In his current role at Genopole®, Lanneau is focused on developing the biocluster's attractiveness and expanding its capabilities to drive innovation in the biotechnology sector. He is passionate about fostering collaboration and promoting the exchange of ideas between researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry partners to advance scientific knowledge and improve global health.
