Biography

Ana María is partner of Lloreda Camacho since 2009 and is the Head of the Life Sciences and Patents departments of the firm. She counts with more than 25 years of experience in managing and advising of large patent portfolios for various multinational and local companies. Ana María holds extensive experience in regulatory and data protection matters, and in handling important litigation procedures before the high courts in Colombia, as well as in the process of patent infringement. In addition, she is recognized for her experience and knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector, and her legal counsel in biotechnology issues. Ana María has been recognized by Chambers & Partners as a leading lawyer in Colombia in Life Sciences Band 1 for several consecutive years, as Hall of Fame lawyer by Legal 500 and IAM Patent Gold -tier lawyer in Colombia.
