Biography

Mary Ann Callahan is a seasoned public- and private-sector leader and recently concluded a four-year term at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a Senior Policy Advisor and Blockchain Fellow. As a global expert in securities issuance and post-trade operations through her 25+ year career at DTCC, she has also advanced digital transformations at State Street, Paxos and Securitize, and has had advisory roles with the International Monetary Fund, the Inter-American Development Bank and the World Bank. Ms. Callahan has demonstrated expertise in supporting the application of innovative technologies to responsibly enhance financial services. She has an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern and BA from Manhattanville University.
