Biography

A corporate & commercial managing associate at Greenwoods Legal LLP, a national firm based in Cambridge, Peterborough and London. Francesca previously worked for an international law firm, and advises businesses and individuals based in the UK and internationally with private acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and shareholder arrangements, as well as contract reviews, general commercial issues and company law matters. Francesca prides herself on being an approachable and proactive lawyer. Indeed, the Legal 500 for M&A deals up to £50m highlighted heras being “strong in negotiations with a good sense for solutions”. A recent client testimonial in the Legal 500 said: "...I have most recently worked closely Francesca Jus-Burke as one of many individuals within Greenwoods and she always has a smile and is happy to explain things clearly and concisely knowing law is not my specialist subject." Francesca enjoys keeping active and is a member of British Rowing, British Canoeing (as a standup paddle boarder) and Ramblers UK. She is passionate about giving back as well as diversity and inclusion, and sits on the firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion committee. She is also a trustee of Diversity UK. Francesca speaks fluent French and has a basic understanding of Spanish.
