Matthias Rothkopf

Biography

Dr. Matthias Rothkopf leads Hengeler Mueller’s IP/IT department in Dusseldorf. Focus points of his practice include start-up transactions and high-tech collaborations, the European Union’s digital legislation, and the representation of large online platforms before courts and antitrust authorities. Matthias studied in Berlin and in Stanford’s “Law Science & Technology” LL.M.-program before joining Hengeler Mueller in 2013. Matthias joined Hengeler Mueller’s India Desk in 2025.
