Kate Kaso-Howard
Biography
Kate Kaso-Howard is a Director of Regulatory & Competition Litigation at Apple Inc., where she leads a global team overseeing more than 150 active antitrust, regulatory, and platform-related disputes. Previously, she served as Senior Assistant General Counsel at Nike, Inc., where she managed global litigation and investigations, including complex commercial disputes and internal compliance matters involving FCPA, fraud, and insider trading. Her work included high-profile government inquiries, cross-border litigation, and strategic counseling on risk mitigation and remediation. Kate began her legal career at Latham & Watkins LLP and clerked for Judge Richard C. Tallman on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. A graduate of Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, she also holds a master’s degree in special education from California State University, Dominguez Hills and a bachelor’s degree in political science from University of Southern California, where she was a varsity rowing captain and academic All-Pac-10 honoree.
