Ben Rutherford
Biography
Ben is the Senior Director, Legal at the International Tennis Integrity Agency. He is a barrister and solicitor with more than 15 years of experience at a top-tier firm and in-house, having previously worked as Senior Legal Counsel at World Rugby and as Head of their Integrity Unit. He now leads the International Tennis Integrity Agency’s legal department. Ben’s experience spans all areas of sports law, with a particular focus on betting, anti-doping, governance, discipline, athlete education and events. He has worked on various committees and projects for the IOC, WADA, UN and INTERPOL on matters of anti-doping and corruption in sport. He also chairs disciplinary tribunals for the Irish Rugby Football Union, a number of international rugby competitions, the National Basketball League of Australia/New Zealand and is a member of the Sports Resolutions international panel.
