Biography

Passed the Japanese Bar Examination in 2013. Worked at the Consumer Affairs Agency from August 2019 to March 2022 as an investigator in the Labeling Division, focusing on unfair representations and prize offers. Served as a legal officer at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) from April 2022 to March 2024, in charge of policy planning, legislation, and enforcement of the Transparency Act for Digital Platform Transactions. Since April 2024, has been engaged in a market study on generative AI at the Digital Market Planning and Research Office, Economic Affairs Bureau, Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC).
