Christophe Dugué

Biography

Christophe Dugué is a French national and French-qualified avocat admitted to the Paris Bar, with more than 30 years’ experience in international commercial arbitration as counsel and arbitrator. He serves as an independent arbitrator in proceedings conducted in English and French and has been involved in over one hundred international commercial arbitration cases across civil law and common law jurisdictions. He has acted as tribunal president, sole arbitrator and co-arbitrator in ad hoc and UNCITRAL proceedings, as well as in cases administered by leading arbitral institutions, including the ICC, the PCA, the SCAI and other institutions. His experience includes arbitrations seated in Geneva, Zurich, Singapore and Paris, and disputes governed by the laws of Switzerland, Romania, Moldova, Oman, Morocco, Algeria, Gabon, Guinea, OHADA, Armenia, Venezuela, France, England and Wales, and New York. His arbitration practice covers a broad range of industries, including construction, distribution, finance, private equity, energy and natural resources. In addition to appointments by the ICC and the AFA, Christophe Dugué appears on arbitrator panels maintained by institutions worldwide, including eBRAM, the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), KCAB International, the Mediation & Conciliation Network (MCN) India, and the Chambre Arbitrale Internationale de Paris (CAIP). He also maintains a particular interest in technological developments and in blockchain and cryptocurrency-related disputes, an area in which he has recently acted as sole arbitrator.
