Biography

Jane Ezirigwe is an Associate Professor at the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and a Research Fellow at the University of Ottawa. With over 20 years of experience in research, advocacy, legal practice, and legal education across five continents, her work focuses on social justice and the advancement of equitable legal and social systems. Her research interests primarily revolve around food and agricultural law, international trade, and governance of Big data and AI. Her contributions extend beyond her research roles as she also serves as a member of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) Advisory Council, where she contributes to shaping policy and governance.
