Matthew Fore
Biography
Matthew L. Fore is Vice President & Senior Counsel, Global Dispute Resolution and Information Governance at Hilton, where he leads the company’s global dispute resolution and information governance functions. In this role, he oversees legal strategy for complex global litigation, regulatory matters, investigations, compliance issues, information governance, cyber-related matters, intellectual property disputes, and a broad range of commercial and operational risks across Hilton’s global portfolio. Since joining Hilton in 2012, Matt has helped guide the company through significant periods of transformation and growth, including its transition from a private company to a publicly traded enterprise. He works closely with senior leadership to manage legal risk, support responsible business growth, and leverage technology and innovation to improve legal operations and business outcomes. Prior to Hilton, Matt was an attorney at Williams & Connolly LLP, where he represented corporate, governmental, and executive clients in litigation, investigations, and complex disputes. Earlier in his career, he served as a law clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and worked as a management consultant with Accenture. A recognized leader in modern legal operations, Matt has been at the forefront of integrating technology and artificial intelligence into legal practice, with a particular focus on dispute resolution, information governance, compliance, and enterprise risk management. He frequently collaborates with business leaders, legal professionals, and technology teams to drive innovation while maintaining strong governance and legal oversight. Matt holds a J.D./M.B.A. from Duke University School of Law and The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
