Biography

Diamana Diawara is a partner at Talex International with 15 years of experience in international litigation and arbitration, including over a decade at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the world’s leading institution for dispute resolution where she has facilitated the resolution of over a thousand ICC arbitration cases, covering complex disputes between parties from the Middle East, Africa, and French-speaking Europe. Diamana is a lawyer admitted to the Paris Bar and an arbitrator, who is trained both in civil law and common law. She stands out particularly in the area of litigation involving state parties in Africa. With an in-depth knowledge of international investments across the region, Diamana Diawara excels in managing disputes arising from these investments and sits as an arbitrator in commercial and investment cases under various institutional rules as well as ad hoc. She holds leading roles in several professional organizations - a member of the board of the francophone arbitration association FRANCARBI, a member of AFSA International Court and a past President of Paris Arbitration Week (2025 and 2026 editions).
