Biography

Lissi Andersen Roost is a partner with Andersen Partners Law Firm in Denmark, specialising in transport and freight forwarding law, including the regulation of multimodal transports. She holds a PhD in transport law from the University of Southern Denmark and has right of audience before the Danish Supreme Court. Lissi’s thorough knowledge of the regulation and the practical execution of na-tional and international transports is rooted in her upbringing in Padborg, the freight forwarding hub of Denmark, where she experienced freight forwarding and transport firsthand every day. Lissi provides advice on all aspects of this practice area, draws up transport and logistics contracts, and provides courses in transport and freight forwarding law. She also advises on issues of insurance and tort law relating to the international transport of goods from the perspectives of both goods owners and transport operators, and she regularly conducts legal proceed-ings related to transport damage before the Danish courts. Lissi is a member of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Transportrecht and Comité Maritime International. She is recognised as a leading practitioner in transport and logistics law by both Chambers Europe and The Legal 500.
