Tobi Adebowale
Biography
Tobi Adebowale is an MBA graduate of IESE Business School with a cross-sector background spanning fintech, infrastructure investing, energy policy, and transactional legal advisory. He currently serves as Head of Legal at Kredete, where he leads legal strategy and regulatory matters in a high-growth fintech environment. During his MBA, Tobi interned with the ARM-Harith Infrastructure Fund, contributing to investment relations and impact reporting, with exposure to infrastructure and energy investments across West Africa. He also worked with the UK Department for Energy Security and Net Zero as part of a central strategy team advising energy ministers on policies aimed at delivering secure, affordable, and sustainable energy systems. Earlier in his career, Tobi was a member of the Energy Practice Group at Banwo & Ighodalo, where he advised on complex transactions across the oil and gas, power, infrastructure, and technology sectors, including project development, private equity investments, asset acquisitions and divestments, and regulatory frameworks. Beyond his professional practice, Tobi has contributed to business reform initiatives in Nigeria, including work supporting the Business Facilitation Act, and previously led the Nigerian Bar Association Young Lawyers’ Forum, spearheading programs and initiatives impacting more than 25,000 young legal professionals. His professional interests lie at the intersection of technology, energy, infrastructure, and project finance, where he combines legal, policy, and investment expertise to support sustainable growth and long-term impact.
