Biography

Ivo Leenders is an experienced lawyer from the Netherlands specialising in tax litigation and financial criminal cases, including cases involving the Dutch Fiscal Intelligence and Investigation Service (FIOD). He provides legal assistance to both individuals and businesses, ranging from sole proprietorships to publicly listed companies, that are, or may become, involved in disputes with the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration or the Public Prosecution Service. His expertise includes formal tax law, including tax and penalty proceedings; tax collection law, including proceedings concerning directors’ liability, chain liability and hirer’s liability; international exchange of information; and criminal cases involving tax offences, money laundering, forgery and corruption (fraud cases).
