Martin serves as Chief Legal Officer at Thought Machine, where he sits on the Executive Committee and helps steer the company in its mission to modernise global banking. He leads the global legal function, supporting the deployment of cloud-native core banking and payments technology designed to meet the rigorous demands of the modern era to the world’s banks. With over 25 years of specialisation in the financial services sector, Martin is a recognised authority in the field. Prior to joining Thought Machine, he spent two decades as a Partner at Taylor Wessing and Latham & Watkins, where he led world-class technology legal practices. Consistently ranked by Chambers and Legal 500 as a premier global Fintech advisor, Martin has guided the world’s top-tier investment and commercial banks across the UK, Europe, and the US through their most complex, mission-critical projects.
