Biography

The majority of Tove’s work is dedicated to environmental permit proceedings related to the green transition and includes, for example, natural resources, on shore and offshore wind, solar power and water. Over the last years, Tove Skärblom has significantly increased her presence as an appreciated mining practitioner, assisting both junior and senior mining companies, particularly on rare earth metal projects. In 2025, she was also nominated and became the council of the community committee (Sw. samhällsutskottet) of the national quarry organization SBMI, further supporting her position and experience within natural resources. Tove is also widely recognized in Sweden for her work in the field of contaminated land, where she has developed a strong reputation through both advisory work and thought leadership within the sector. She is also frequently engaged as a lecturer on contaminated land issues and will deliver these lectures for the ninth consecutive year in 2026. She has served as a board member in the nationwide organization “Renare Mark” for the maximum period of four years and the “Renare Mark” board of Stockholm. Moreover, she was nominated to participate as legal expert in a state-funded project that aims to demonstrate civil-military synergies between offshore windfarms and defence capability, including participants from i.a. the Swedish Armed Forced, the Swedish Defence University and start-up company Elevated Launch, Project Fönvind. Within the field of renewables, she is also the Swedish representative in Baltic Sea Offshore Webinar Series hosted by five leading law firms around the Baltic Sea, which hosts webinars on offshore wind twice a year. Tove is also repeatedly retained to perform due diligence related to environmental, energy and power issues in all kinds of transactions and regulatory work.
