Biography

Dr Tade Oyewunmi is a lawyer and professor specialising in energy and natural resources law, the regulation and development of energy technologies, and international law. He is an Associate Professor at the School of Management, University of Vaasa, Finland. Dr Oyewunmi has led several research projects and taught energy law and policy-related courses in the US and internationally. He was previously a Senior Counsel practising in the areas of energy and international business transactions in Lagos, Nigeria. He serves as an Associate Editor for the OGEL Energy Law Journal, and his professional affiliations include the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN), the Institute for Energy Law at the Centre for American and International Law, and the Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law (formerly Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation).
