Biography

Dr Tade Oyewunmi is an Associate Professor of Energy Law at the University of Vaasa, Finland, specialising in international energy law and policy, and the regulation of energy systems and natural resources. Dr Oyewunmi has led several research projects and taught energy law and policy-related courses in the US and internationally. Previously, he practised as a Senior Counsel (energy and international business transactions) in Lagos, Nigeria. He serves as an Associate Editor for the OGEL Energy Law Journal, and his professional affiliations include the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN), the Institute for Energy Law at the Centre for American and International Law, and the Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law (formerly Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation).
