Biography

James Scicluna is the managing partner of WH Partners, a firm which he co-founded He is a lawyer qualified in both Malta and the UK, and has practiced in both jurisdictions. James is a transactional lawyer, best known for his in-depth knowledge of the gambling industry & tech. He advises some of the world’s major gambling operators and investors in the industry on significant M&A and regulatory issues. James was one of the co-authors of Malta’s Gaming Act (2018). He is ranked in a number of practice areas by Chambers & Partners Global, Chambers & Partners Europe, Legal 500, IFLR and WWL. He has been a member of IBA since 2012.
