Biography

Julie Dohm, Ph.D., J.D., is a partner at Covington & Burling. Her practice focuses on regulatory matters for pharmaceutical clients such as drug promotion, drug shortage, importation, and compounding, including of GLP-1s. Prior to joining Covington, Julie led the FDA’s compounding initiative, including inspections and enforcement, policy development, and stakeholder collaboration. Before that, Julie was a civil litigator in FDA’s Office of Chief Counsel and a law clerk for two federal judges. Her PhD and post-graduate training focused on structural and biophysical characterization of small molecule drugs, nucleic acids, and proteins.
