Nafia Haque
Biography
Nafia Haque is a Barrister-at-Law (non-practising) and legal academic based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She is an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB). Nafia previously worked as a legal practitioner, advising and assisting on a range of legal matters including arbitration, mergers and acquisitions, legal research, drafting and vetting of legal documents, client conferences and court proceedings. Her academic and research interests include international arbitration, international tax law and legal ethics. Her research on ethical issues in international arbitration has been published in the Journal of International Arbitration, and she has also published work examining the international taxation of digital services. She holds an LLM with Distinction and a Bar Vocational Studies qualification from City St. George’s, University of London, and an LLB with Upper Second-Class Honours from the University of London International Programmes.
