Biography

Nuno Cunha Barnabé is a law graduate by the faculty of the University of Lisbon, where I have also lectured in tax, public finances and economics laws. In over 25 years’ experience in tax law, mostly dedicated to wealth taxation, he has become specialized in advising HNWI’s individuals, family offices, private banking and asset manager businesses in Portugal and Portuguese speaking countries on cross-border individuals taxation, estate planning and foreign investment matters. Nuno is a full TEP member of the STEP, where he chairs the International Client SIG, an academician of the TIAETL - The International Academy of Estate and Trust Law, in which I currently serves as Council Member, an international fellow of the ACTEC – American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and a member of the IFA - International Fiscal Association, the CFE Tax Advisors Europe and the ABA – American Bar Association.
