Biography
Folake is a partner at Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie and plays a key role in the firm’s Competition, Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity & Venture Capital, and Oil & Gas teams. She advises investors, multinationals, corporates, funds, and sponsors across diverse sectors on domestic and cross-border structuring, equity and asset acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, regulatory strategy and compliance, and competition law matters - including merger filings, compliance, and public interest considerations in transactional contexts. She is recognised by Chambers Global, Chambers FinTech, The Legal 500, IFLR1000, Lexology Who’s Who Legal, and BusinessDay. Folake studied law at the University of Oxford and University College London, and serves on the boards of various corporate and non-profit organisations, including CorpsAfrica.
