Hailey Hyein Jin
Biography
Hailey Hye-In Jin is a senior attorney qualified as a South Korean attorney with extensive experience and expertise in her legal practice. From 2016 to 2020, she served with distinction at leading South Korean law firms, handling a broad spectrum of legal matters including general corporate counseling, domestic and international alternative investments, private equity, real estate, capital markets, disputes, financial regulation (including insurance matters), and dispute resolution involving litigation in South Korean courts and international arbitration. Ms. Jin earned her degree in Economics from Seoul National University and graduated with top honors, summa cum laude from Korea University Law School where she completed a corporate law specialization program. This solid academic foundation has enabled her to comprehensively understand the business of various industries and the intricacies of corporate management. In 2021, she contributed to the alternative investment team of an asset management company, where her hands-on involvement and thinking out-of-the-box abilities significantly helped in fund raising and management activities earning her recognition for her proficiency in handling internal compliance issues and demonstrated a keen insight into practical processes and business needs. Since 2022, she has broadened her scope of legal expertise as a valued member of Dentons Lee. In her current role, she provides comprehensive legal advisory services across diverse areas, including general counseling for domestic and international corporations which include complex contract drafting, review and negotiations; competition and fair trade; financial regulation; and disclosure counseling, investment and overseas expansion for large corporations, mid-cap companies and startups; international contract dispute counseling and litigation; and international arbitration disputes. Her commitment to excellence and her ability to navigate sophisticated commercial landscapes and analyze complicated legal issues make her an asset as she provides the highest level of integrity and legal services to her clients locally in South Korea and abroad in various countries around the world.
