Biography

Pavi Jain is a Partner in Khaitan & Co (Mumbai office) one of India’s premier law firms, where she specializes in advising clients on M&A and Private Equity transactions. In addition to her core expertise, Pavi co-leads the firm’s ESG Practice Group. Pavi maintains a strong relationship with the Blackstone Group, a key repeat client, and works closely with major multinational corporations and conglomerates such as Reliance Group, RPG Group, Micron Technology, and PingSafe on cross-border transactions. Pavi serves as the Vice Chair of the IPBA ESG Committee and the Asia Chair for the ESG Committee of the Meritas group of law firms. Pavi was honoured as a Distinguished Legal Advisor at the Asia Pacific Business Awards 2024-2025, and the "Star Woman Lawyer of the Year" in 2024 by Legal Era. Pavi is also a thought leader in her field, having authored the prestigious Oxford Net Zero Policy Monitor, which was presented to the United Nations Secretary-General at COP29 in Baku.
