Biography

I am the Managing Partner of C&M, the head of it’s corporate / M&A practice and primarily focus on transactional advice. I have advised investors (both corporate and individual), target entities (both established and start-up), and various intermediaries on all aspects of transactions, including mergers, share sales/purchases, asset sales, and buyouts for over 20 years. I also advise clients on complex legal issues such as foreign exchange laws, regulatory provisions and trade laws. My practice includes advising on setting up business in India, day-to-day business operations, corporate compliance and governance and business structuring. In addition, I regularly advise on all types of commercial and corporate contracts. I am a visiting faculty member at the National Law University, Delhi and teach a course on cross-border transactions to final year students. In 2021, I co-authored a book on ‘International VC Terms’ published by Beck CE.
