Biography

Petros is Partner at Drakopoulos Law Firm. He advises on complex transactions across a wide range of sectors, including real estate, strategic property investments, construction and development, energy, and emerging technologies. He provides comprehensive legal support throughout the full lifecycle of sophisticated investments—from initial structuring and negotiation to implementation, operations, and exit. He also specializes in the intersection of law and technology, with a focus on GDPR and EU AI Act compliance, helping companies navigate evolving regulatory frameworks and adopt new technologies responsibly and strategically. Petros has served as legal counsel to both the Greek Minister of Labor and Social Welfare and a multinational corporation with a strong presence in Greece. He is an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Association of Law Firms, representing over 185 of Greece’s leading firms, and served as Vice President for three years. He also represents Greece as a Council member of the International Bar Association’s European Regional Forum. He co-authored an academic article on interim measures by the Hellenic Competition Commission, published in Business and Company Law (Dikaio Etaireion kai Epixeiriseon). Petros graduated with distinction from the University of Athens School of Law and holds an M.St. from the University of Oxford and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School.
