Anette Maier

Biography

Anette Maier is Head of Tax for AllianzGI Private Markets, based in Munich, Germany. She has extensive experience in tax law, having begun her career as a tax lawyer at a leading international law firm before joining the Allianz Group. Anette specialises in international tax law, with expertise spanning M&A transactions, corporate restructurings, financing, fund structuring and investments, as well as fund-related tax compliance. She studied law at the Universities of Freiburg i.B., Munich, and Konstanz, and holds an LL.M. in International Taxation from the University of London. In addition, she earned an EMBA from the University of St. Gallen and an MBA from the University of Toronto. Anette is admitted in Germany as a certified tax advisor.
