Biography

Nick has spent 21 years in the tax department of Koch Industries, Inc. and it’s subsidiaries working on strategy and planning initiatives in the areas of US international tax, US corporate tax, foreign local country tax, financial instruments, mergers and acquisitions, investment structures, and tax policy. Koch Industries is a privately held world-wide conglomerate that includes operating divisions across a broad spectrum of businesses, has an active mergers and acquisition program, and a has developed a large investment platform that participates in a wide array of deals. Koch’s operating divisions range from oil and gas refining, commodity trading, building products and electronic component manufacturing, to software development and SaaS. Nick spent 10 years partnering with the Business Development group during the development of the investing platform and still works on these deals in the foreign markets. Outside of Koch Industries, Nick has also been part of the KPMG International Tax group and Deloitte’s Global Strategy Group.
