Joaquin Vallebella

Biography

Joaquín Vallebella is a Partner at Brons & Salas in Buenos Aires and Head of the firm’s Arbitration and Complex Litigation Department. He advises domestic and international clients on commercial, corporate, real estate, energy, mining, hospitality, life sciences, and infrastructure matters, with extensive experience in contract negotiation and high stakes dispute resolution. He has acted as counsel in more than 50 arbitrations under ICC, UNCITRAL, PCA, and other rules, as well as in court proceedings for the annulment, recognition, and enforcement of arbitral awards. Joaquín currently represents CAMMESA in multiple domestic and international arbitrations arising from renewable energy PPAs under the RenovAr program and regularly handles disputes involving turnkey projects, distribution, franchising, concessions, EPC contracts, and investment related claims. Joaquín is Professor of Arbitration at the University of Buenos Aires and Visiting Professor at Austral University. He is also co editor of the ICC Argentina Arbitration Bulletin and has authored numerous publications on arbitration and contract law. He is a member of the ICC Institute of World Business Law and several Task Forces and LAI Chapter, ALARB, and the City of Buenos Aires Bar Association. He works in Spanish and English.
