Biography
Christopher Moore is a Firm Partner of TPG and the General Counsel of TPG Credit and TPG AG Real Estate, having served as the Chief Legal Officer of Angelo Gordon prior to its acquisition by TPG in November 2023. Prior to joining Angelo Gordon in April 2020, Chris was the Chief Legal Office and General Counsel for GE Capital Global Holdings and for GE Corporate Treasury & Capital Markets, having previously served as Global Head of Litigation & Legal Policy for GE Capital and Senior Counsel, Litigation & Legal Policy, for the General Electric Company. Before joining General Electric in 2008, Chris was a Partner at Goodwin Procter LLP in Boston, focused on securities and corporate governance matters, internal and government investigations, SEC Enforcement matters, and other complex litigation and crisis management engagements. His public service positions include appointments by Governor Mitt Romney as Chairman of the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and as Commissioner of the Massachusetts State Ethics Commission. Chris began his legal career in Washington, D.C. as an associate at Sidley Austin LLP after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael S. Kanne of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He holds a B.A. degree in history from Cornell University and a J.D. degree from the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.
