Dennis Pereira, partner in Akin’s New York office, leverages almost 20 years of experience advising clients on global investment fund matters. He routinely represents global private equity and credit fund sponsors in fund formations, structurings and operations employing groundbreaking strategies. Known as a problem-solver who remains calm during high-stakes deals, Dennis possesses strong, detailed knowledge of his clients’ operations and is frequently called upon to educate new hires, outside counsel and regulators. He is particularly knowledgeable of U.S. Tax Code changes impacting fund structuring. His representative work includes structuring the largest private equity fund in the world.
