Richard Strohmenger

Biography

Richard Strohmenger is the Deputy General Counsel at Värde Partners. His responsibilities include overseeing legal matters relating to the firm’s private funds and accounts and other management company activities. Based in New York, he joined the firm in 2020.   Prior to joining Värde, Richard was the Head of Alternatives Legal at AllianceBernstein. Additionally, Richard was an associate at the law firms of Haynes & Boone and Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt in New York.   Richard received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.
