Jamal Fulton

Biography

Jamal Fulton is a partner in Cleary Gottlieb’s Private Funds Group. Jamal’s practice focuses on the organization and operation of private investment funds, including buyout, growth equity, venture capital, impact, conduit, and hedge funds. Jamal also represents private fund sponsors in co-investment, separate account, fund-of-one, joint venture, and other bespoke arrangements, and he counsels limited partners in their investments in private funds. His clients include KKR, TPG, iCapital, J.P. Morgan, and Cascade Asset Management Company. Jamal has been recognized as “Up & Coming” in Private Equity: Fund Formation by Chambers USA and Chambers Global and was named a Law360 Rising Star in Fund Formation. He also maintains an active pro bono practice.
