Biography

Emilio Mena is a Managing Director at MGX, a leading AI and advanced technology investor committed to accelerating the responsible development of AI-led technologies that will deliver a positive economic and social impact. Emilio has diversified and significant experience in all aspects of the formation, structuring, and operation of private investment funds. Emilio also has extensive experience in counseling asset managers with respect to governance and operational matters (including human resources issues and related litigation) and compliance with the Securities Act, the Investment Advisers Act, the Investment Company Act, the Commodities Exchange Act and applicable agency regulations. Additionally, Emilio has advised private equity sponsor groups, institutional investors and private wealth platforms in their investment programs, including private fund investments, co-investments, private equity secondaries, seeding arrangements, and the establishment of customized managed accounts.
