Polina Levina

Biography

Polina Levina Mahnad is a Russian-Canadian international lawyer with 13 years of experience in human rights and international criminal investigations. She currently serves as Financial Investigation Team Leader at a UN investigative mechanism, directing financial investigations into international crimes and coordinating with international and national law enforcement. She previously worked at the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, and in UN human rights field missions and investigation bodies on Ukraine, Syria, Afghanistan, and Myanmar. Polina has published on international criminal law, human rights, international humanitarian law, and victims' rights. She holds degrees from the London School of Economics, the University of London, and SOAS.
