Laury Haytayan

Biography

Laury Haytayan is an energy policy and geopolitics expert specializing in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. She serves as MENA Director at the Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI), an independent international nonprofit organization that provides policy advice, conducts research, and advocates for improved resource governance and a just energy transition in resource-rich countries. She is the author of several publications and a frequent commentator on oil, gas, and broader energy issues in the MENA region. In addition, she hosts a podcast featuring regional experts discussing key energy developments and trends. She also teaches courses on the geopolitics of energy and energy security.
