Biography

A senior international legal executive and trusted business advisor with more than 20 years of experience leading legal, compliance, governance and strategic transformation initiatives across the Middle East, Africa, Pakistan and emerging markets. Qualified in Pakistan with a Master of Laws degree from the University of Cambridge, Saira has a proven track record of partnering with boards, shareholders and executive leadership teams of companies such as Mondelez, AkzoNobel and more recently as General Counsel for IFFCO to deliver commercially focused legal strategies, mitigate enterprise risk, strengthen governance frameworks and support large-scale business growth and transformation across complex multi-jurisdictional environments. Saira is recognized for building high-performing legal functions, leading strategic transactions and restructuring initiatives, and aligning legal strategy with business objectives in fast-paced and highly regulated sectors.
