Florian Zapkau

Biography

I am a chaired professor of international business with a special focus on SME internationalization at WU Wien (Vienna University of Economics and Business). My research is at the intersections of internationalization and entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on SMEs, family firms, and young firms. I have teaching experience at the undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate/executive, and Ph.D. levels. At WU Executive Academy, I serve as the Academic Director of the EMBA Mobility Management. My core belief is that evidence-based management helps managers make better decisions.
