Secretary General of IOSCO (International Organization of Securities Commissions) since January 2025 and former Chair of the Spanish securities markets regulator, the “CNMV”, until December 2024. He has been a member of the ESMA and IOSCO boards and chaired several policy committees within ESMA (Investor Protection, Market Integrity and Markets) and IOSCO.
