Biography

Associate Director Patent Litigation, Bial-Portela & Ca, S.A. Stella Fletcher is a Registered UK Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney. Having worked in private practice for a number of years with a Glasgow firm of patent attorneys, she moved to Portugal to take up a position in house in 2006, managing the patent portfolio of the pharmaceutical company, Bial-Portela. She then headed up the patents department there before focussing on patent litigation in 2017. Most recently, she managed the successful litigation of Bial’s anti-epilepsy product, APTIOM(US)/ZEBINIX(Europe), in its Spanish nullity action and US ANDA litigation.
